Decolonizing Art Narratives: Ala Younis in conversation with Fawz Kabra
The first of a one academic year lecture-series, "Decolonizing Art Narratives; Arab Women Artists Today" presents a dynamic group of Arab female artists and practitioners across disciplines and regions in the Middle East exploring issues of gender, politics, colonialism, culture and identity. This lecture series asks: How might we revisit and rethink existing narratives in contemporary art? The lectures as a whole reinforce the focus theme—the pursuit of decolonized art narratives.

Join us for the fifth artist lecture of the series by Ala Younis, with a discussion & Q&A moderated by Fawz Kabra.

Attendance is free and open to the public.
